ART TRAIL 2013
Are you an artist, professional or amateur? Would you like the opportunity to sell up to two of your artworks during theHitchin Festival this summer? Well you can! If you would like to be a featured artist at this year’s event, your art could appear in the window of one of Hitchin Town Centre’s participating shops between Friday 28th June to Sunday 28th July Submission guidelines: Your artwork should not exceed 1m in any direction except by special arrangement. Please include a label with your full name, address, email, phone number, title, medium and price, sewn, fused, glued, or written (as appropriate) on the back of your artwork. Where possible please also include a photograph of your artwork with your name, phone number, address, and email printed on the back. Although there is no entry fee to take part, a contribution of 10% for any sale is requested. Such donations will go towards Hitchin Festival funds; an annual event that is much loved but non-profit making. Your artwork must be received at Tim’s Art Supplies, 17 Churchgate, Hitchin, SG5 1DN on Monday 24th June between 10am & 4pm. WE REGRET THAT DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS IT IS ONLY POSSIBLE TO RECEIVE ART WORK AT THIS TIME. All works submitted are subject to selection. We will do our best to match the artwork to the most appropriate shop. All unselected work must be collected on contact. PLEASE NOTE – The collection of unsold works WILL ALSO BE FROM TIM’S on Weds 31st July between 10am and 4pm ONLY. Whilst every care will be taken with your artwork we cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred due to circumstances beyond our control. Please help us by using plenty of bubble wrap on your packaging and we will return works in the same.
